What should we know about you?

The GUESS brand was founded in 1981 by Georges Marciano and his brothers. The three brothers shared the tasks among themselves. Armand was responsible for distribution, Paul was responsible for advertising and collectively distribution and promotion, while Georges was responsible for dress design. Initially, they opened a similar business in France under the name of MGA but wished to expand, so Georges traveled to America to assess opportunities for brand expansion.
The breakthrough came in 1981, when they opened their first business in Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, which was a huge success for them.
Already in 1985, the company made its own Guess jeans for the lead character of the movie Back to the Future (Michael J. Fox), but also worked with famous stars like Claudia Schiffer.
